Becoming an ESL, Bilingual/Bicultural teacher one day at a time. This site is for future teachers and teachers of English Language Learners/ CLD. You will find resources in English and in Spanish that can serve as a guide in your journey.
Hi, my name is Priscila Marín. I am a non-traditional Latina student soon to be ELL teacher from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). I am proud to be Bilingual in English and Spanish. I am also very passionate about Elementary Educacion, Bilingual Education, ESL, ELL, Multiculturalism and Biculturalism .
I started this blog with the idea that other students will find it as a useful resource on their journey to become an ELL teachers. Being a non-traditional college student is not an easy task , you have to learn to juggle between family, school and life. I will mention events and community service that I have done that i think have helped me become more aware of who I want to become.
On here I share tools that have helped me get through my last two years of college. I share my inspiration, struggles and many other things that have served as motivation to keep going. Some posts are from the courses that I have taken at UNC and the resources I found and used that helped succeed in that class. All opinions and images are mine, if not I will cite where I took it from.
In many of my posts I have added websites that I have found useful and have been interesting to me as a future teacher and as a parent. If you like what you see, leave a comment and let me know what you think.
I hope that you find this blog useful and find the resources you need.
