In many of our TESL courses, teachers have emphasized that students come from many different backgrounds. Also they have told us that as a teachers we have to make our classroom welcoming for our students to feel safe and included.
A while go, a teacher shared her students’ notes on Twitter, using the hashtag #IWishMyTeacherKnew. Then it was all over the internet. When you read all the notes, your heart melts and aches for these children. This notes reveal what teachers don’t know and fear for their students.
